The Chief Executive Officers of three tech giants are asked to report in front of Congress; to discuss their responsibilities in defending the probity of November’s midterm elections. The three tech giants which are to be reported are Twitter, Google, and Facebook. Jack Dorsey Twitter chief executive and Sheryl Sandberg chief officer of Facebook will be a witness.
It is not yet committed by Larry Page, chief executive of Google’s progenitor company Alphabet, regarding his attendance. The social media giants will be asked about their feedback to operations. The external impact operations on their dashboards in an open hearing to be held on the 5th of September. Google has recommended sending Kent Walker, senior vice president of Global Affairs, as a substitute for Larry, the representative.
